About
Lone Quest is my personal corner of the web for journaling solo TTRPG adventures.
While I dabble in many systems, I’m most at home in the grit of Sci-Fi and the shadows of Horror (Call of Cthulhu, Delta Green, Imperium Maledictum, and Mothership, to name a few).
I’m particularly fond of Free League titles—especially the Blade Runner RPG—because they hit that “sweet spot” between rule complexity and ease of play. Fair warning: You’ll find no D&D here. I’ve played my share of fantasy; now, I’m looking for something different.
To me, solo adventuring is about the story. Rules are there to help me find it; if they don’t serve the narrative, I’m happy to ignore them.
I manage my games through a self-hosted Foundry VTT instance, which is an incredible tool for solo play.
